After the launch of our Refillable Body Wash back in October 2022, we couldn’t be happier with the news of the awards. The Refillable Body Wash comes in the world’s first PAPER, plastic-free, home-compostable pouch for liquid, sitting comfortably next to our Natural Refillable Deodorant.
After years of testing holding liquid in the TUV home compostable accredited paper pouch, we are proud to be moving beauty to sustainable solutions and hope that in the future, we hope that one day every brand will be using paper refill pouches to reduce the amount of single-use plastic.

We launched Proverb’s best-selling Natural Refillable Deodorant back in March 2021, two-years after starting crowdfunding in 2019. Since then, we have gone on to win several awards – including Beauty Shortlist in 2021 and be featured in some incredible publications such as Which?, The Independent, GQ, The Evening Standard and many more.

GROOMING AWARDS
Proverb stands for ‘statements of truth’ and so the Beauty Shortlist, Wellbeing and Eco Lifestyle Awards are close to our heart. Most UK beauty awards are linked to advertising and magazine spends but these are completely independent and completely ad/sponsor free. You have to send in products and real industry experts and judges have to use them for a number of weeks and vote.
We just want to say a big thank you to Beauty Shortlist for these awards, and a big thank you to all of our awesome customers who have supported us along the way. We are just getting started here at Proverb. Here’s to getting out more of what you put in!
