PROVERB FOUNDER BEN BURCH TALKS ABOUT WHY MEN'S SKINCARE?

Having started life as an engineer and part of the boat race crew for Oxford University, how did I end up working with Luke and Kirstie in skincare? Well firstly, to everyone’s relief I don’t get involved in the product contents, they are the experts and that’s what they do best. Great people are behind great products – case in point. When the chance to work alongside Luke and Kirstie to push, nurture and challenge everything presented itself it was too great an opportunity to miss. 

Whilst the Proverb product line is skincare the reach and goals are broader – we honestly want everyone we interact with to feel better about themselves, it’s something that I am passionate about – whether that comes from how a facial scrub makes you feel or to being inspired to take that step and put on your running shoes after consuming some of our content. I’m fascinated and dedicated to trying to lift myself up and those around me to achieve more than they thought was possible – Proverb stands for just that, in life, you do get out what you put in. 

So I think a lot about mindset and what that means, how to make consistent and positive changes that last, that makes you feel better look better and be better. Bottom line, I give a damn, Luke and Kirstie do too, that’s it, we all care and we are just trying to do our best to make a difference to the people we can reach.
