Refillable? This product has a Proverb ‘reload’, part of our minimal waste skincare system. On order one, you get the outer box, glass bottle and pump. On all ongoing orders you do not get the box or pump. You reuse your pump from order one. The bottle will arrive with a small recyclable aluminium cap. Globally pumps and atomisers are very hard to recycle as they are mixed materials so we are on a mission to get rid of them. You only need one.

Natural & organic? Entirely natural with organic ingredients. Most brands would happily say 100%. Proverb means truth. All emulsions made in the UK have to have a preservative. We use the organic certification allowed preservative dehydroacetic acid. Although you are allowed to label it natural it isn’t truly. There is 0.6% in the bottle as legally required.

In vitro & in vivo lab proven actives? Yes, we have selected many active ingredients with strong in vitro and in vivo testing results for the individual ingredients. Combining this with researching the source, origins and ethics of each ingredient.

‘Clean’ brands tend to be younger and newer to market and thus don’t usually invest the large amount of funds needed to clinically trial products to prove results in an independent lab. Not us; we are firmly committed to do this as the clean, organic and natural sector has to prove it works. As we grow the brand, we will grow the investment into clinical testing as a priority but below are our test results so far!

*This level of testing at launch from a young, new brand is unheard of in the organic and natural sector.

Lab tests on individual ingredients

Amino acids and peptide complex from coconuts - in vitro tests showed 32% reduction in the number of wrinkles when used twice daily over a 42 day period.

Hyaluronic acid proven to reduce TEWL (transepidermal water loss) and increase skin hydration by up to 10% from control group and more than 20% reduction of oiliness was seen in 12 weeks.

Unsaponifiable Sunflower Seed Oil- proven 24 hour moisturisation claims.

Your skin should feel immediately more comfortable and softer when you apply Hydration Pro Moisturiser.

We would expect within the first week that your skin will look brighter, less tired and feel more nourished.

You should also be getting signs that your skin is more actually more moisturised. It shouldn’t feel tight as the low molecular hyaluronic acid starts helping draw more water to the surface of your skin and reducing inflammation.

The combination of ingredients is focused on reducing skin stress and improving hydration so your skin looks smooth and never dry or tired.
