Refillable? This product has a Proverb ‘reload’, part of our minimal waste skincare system. On order one, you get the outer box, glass bottle and pump. On all ongoing orders you do not get the box or pump. You reuse your pump from order one. The bottle will arrive with a small recyclable aluminium cap. Globally pumps and atomisers are very hard to recycle as they are mixed materials so we are on a mission to get rid of them. You only need one.

Natural & organic? Entirely natural with organic ingredients. Most brands would happily say 100%. Proverb means truth. All emulsions made in the UK have to have a preservative. We use the organic certification allowed preservative dehydroacetic acid. Although you are allowed to label it natural it isn’t truly. There is 0.6% in the bottle as legally required.

‘Clean’ brands tend to be younger and newer to market and thus don’t usually invest the large amount of funds needed to clinically trial products to prove results in an independent lab. Not us; we are firmly committed to do this as the clean, organic and natural sector has to prove it works. As we grow the brand, we will grow the investment into clinical testing as a priority but below are our test results so far!

Lab tests on individual ingredients

Clinical study on 30 people 18- 65 who presented heavy legs/ oedema.

15 people- tested with gel with 2% V Tonic others had the leading product on market containing 4% hamamelis and 1% vibrurnum.

IMMEDIATE EFFECTS

80% testing V tonic said they felt immediate effects - double than with the other.

RELAXING EFFECT

Efficacy with high intensity – 23% compared to 0% for the other.

IMMEDIATE PAIN RELIEF

Efficacy with high intensity – 25% compared to 0% for the other.

Immediately after application the formula with V tonic was felt to be more efficient and to be of a higher intensity for coolness, relaxing feeling and pain relief.

LONG TERM study- 28 days. Clinical trial on a longer term shows the V tonic formula gave better results for decreasing functional discomfort from the feeling of heavy legs and the associated pain.

CONCLUSION

Clinical trials and consumer tests show V tonic produces from 1st application and intense feeling of coolness and relaxation and considerably attenuates pain leading to an overall feeling of wellbeing. After 4 weeks of application there is a significant efficacy on the various symptoms associated with heavy legs.
