Here at Proverb we’ve heard you ask time and time again when we are bringing out a new scent for our natural eco-friendly deodorant.
Well, it’s officially here!
Our brand new natural deodorant scent, Lemongrass and Myrtle. This is the fourth scent we have brought out since the original launch of the Proverb refillable deodorant back in late 2019.
The citrus summertime scent is available in active strength, contains sodium bicarbonate and is designed for an active lifestyle with heavy sweating.
You can also get the lemongrass and myrtle refill in core strength, without sodium bicarbonate, perfect for those that may be sensitive to the ingredient or don't suffer from excessive sweating.
As always, we only use plant-powered natural ingredients for a vegan formula to keep you feeling fresh while eliminating the risk of harmful chemicals. There are no nasties in Proverb deodorants: free from aluminums, petroleum, parabens, SLS artificial fragrance and propylene glycol.
Proverb co-founder, Kirstie, excitedly shares the process of bringing out this new scent:
“It’s always difficult to bring out a new scent, as it takes multiple renditions of the scent to find the perfect one… As you can imagine, our office smelt very fresh during the process! We always wanted to hold off releasing a new refill until we knew everyone would love it, from a sustainability point of view - this was imperative.”
Our first samples have been trialled in our most loyal customers' subscription boxes. Everyone has loved it!
The Lemongrass and Myrtle deodorant refills have the fresh citrus scent of the lemongrass herb, combined with the evergreen plant of Myrtle with similar fresh lemon notes. After Thursday 2nd June 2022, it is your turn to try.
