Suitable for heavy make-up?If you wear a lot of make-up, we would suggest you use an oily balm based cleanser first and then use this Cleanse & Shave Mud as your second cleanse. We have amazing results in our salons doing this but for very heavy eye make-up something oilier would work better first. Truthful as always!

Compostable? Yes. Don’t be fooled by the magpie silver gleam inside the sachet. They will home compost in 26 weeks at ambient temperatures and leave no eco soil toxicity.

We use the organic certification allowed preservative dehydroacetic acid. Although you are allowed to label it natural it isn’t truly. There is 0.6% in the bottle as legally required.

Cleanse & Shave Nutrient Mud
It has a very unique texture-like whipped mud that glides on and makes your skin feel cool. Apply it neat and it feels like a creamy clay mask texture. However, as soon as you add water to your face it becomes an emulsified creamy face wash allowing you to really massage the skin and boost blood and nutrients to the skin cells.
The combination of natural clays is crucial to the anti-redness and smooth, even skin colour, but they are white. All skins - but especially darker skins definitely need a clean face flannel or muslin cloth to remove it. This is a win, as the cloth will also provide a gentle exfoliation.
